To have your Plan of Study Review hold lifted, you must come into the CS Department and meet with an advisor to update your matrix and plans prior to being advised by your CS faculty advisor.

Walk-in and advisement appointments are available. Walk-ins will be seen by the advisor in the order you sign in. If you prefer to see a specific advisor you MUST make an appointment with them. Please note walk-in hours are subject to change.

The CS Department has available tutoring for all students taking a CS classes. Topics/classes area vary per semester. Please see our Peer Tutoring page for a current tutoring schedule.

The Engineering Student Success Center provides Tutoring for Math, CS, Physics, English, Chemistry and other classes (varies per semester). The Center for Academic Program Support (CAPS) provides a Math/Science Tutoring Program, Online Tutoring Program, Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program, Writing and Language Center, Learning Strategies Program, and multi-disciplinary tutoring. CAPS provides a variety of services such as individual tutoring, workshops, study groups, drop-in labs, language conversation groups, SI sessions, and online assistance.

 The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) helps all qualified students with disabilities gain equal educational access and opportunities throughout the UNM community. Faculty and academic support staff may refer students when they have disclosed pertinent information regarding a specific disability.
